Mr. Broyles graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering. He has over 35 years of structural consulting experience. Throughout his career, he has provided many structural designs covering a vast number of fields including federal, commercial, educational, and historical. He is experienced with the current code requirements including Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), 2015 Virginia Construction Code, International Building Codes (IBC), American Society of Civil Engineer Codes (ASCE 7), and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection. In addition, he is registered in 44 states across the country.

Mr. Whitaker graduated from Penn State University in 2006 with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architectural Engineering. He has experience in the design and construction administration for various types of structural engineering projects.  Some of his project included the rehabilitation/ renovations to the Cavalier Hotel at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, building evaluation of historic buildings, seismic and wind evaluations and upgrades, multi-story buildings, building additions, parking garages, mixed use office buildings, federal projects, grade school and higher education facilities on many different campuses.  He is proficient in the design of structures constructed of cold-formed metal framing, concrete, masonry, steel, and wood materials and is well versed with the current code requirements. Mr. Whitaker received his Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in 2010 and his Structural Engineers (S.E.) License in 2019.  He became the WV Branch Manager in the summer of 2020.

 Mr. Beauchamp is a local to the Hampton Roads area and attended Old Dominion University where he earned his Bachelors in Civil Engineering. He has a passion for solving unique and complex problems while meeting the vision of the client. A few of the first big projects he worked on were at his alma mater (ODU) which included the New Chemistry Building and the new SB Ballard Stadium reconstruction. Other project sector experience includes hospitality, multifamily, federal, medical office building, and retail. He firmly believes that life isn’t about the things you do – it’s about the people you do it with, whether that’s clients, coworkers, or other engineers.  Mr. Beauchamp received his Structural Engineers (S.E.) License in 2021.

Mr. Slocum is an Old Dominion University graduate with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering.  He has years of experience using AutoCAD and REVIT. While attending ODU, he participated in ASCE and Steel Bridge all four years of his time there and served as President and Project Manager of the organizations respectively. He has experience with wood, concrete, masonry and steel structures.  Mr. Slocum received his Professional Engineers License in 2023.

Mr. Yost is an Old Dominion University graduate with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Engineering Management. He has experience with AutoCAD, Tekla, Tedds, and Inventor. While attending ODU, he participated in ASCE Concrete canoe and AISC Steel bridge design teams. He has experience with evaluation and renovations of existing buildings and other site survey projects.  He is familiar with many different methods of construction. 

Mr. Stanikzai is currently a Ph.D. candidate in structural engineering at Old Dominion University. He has published several journal papers on seismic vibration control of buildings using hybrid base-isolation and tuned mass dampers. His fascination with tall buildings and long-span bridges began during his middle and high school years, fueling his curiosity about their construction methods. This interest ultimately led him to pursue his current major in Structural Engineering. He has experience in design and construction administration of various types of structural engineering projects. During his free time, he enjoys reading books, listening to music, and watching movies with his loved ones.

Mr. Harkins has over 20 years of experience in the field of Computer Aided Drafting. In conjunction to his experience in AutoCAD, he has experience in Revit since 2008 and is responsible for managing the Revit operations at Broyles and Associates. He is an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit Structure 2015. He has worked on commercial, industrial, residential, educational, federal, medical and civil projects. His responsibilities include setup, review, and coordination of both CAD and Revit project drawings. In 2020, he obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which is an industry recognized credential for project managers. PMP demonstrates the experience, education, skill and competency required to lead and direct projects. PMP is the most sought after certification administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)

Mr. Gainer has over 25 years of experience in the field of Computer Aided Drafting and is responsible for managing the AutoCad operations at Broyles and Associates.. In addition to his AutoCAD work, he has experience in Revit since 2007. He has worked on commercial, industrial, residential, educational, and federal projects. His responsibilities include setup, review, and coordination of both CAD and Revit project drawings.

Mr. Bosch has 7 years of experience in the field of structural engineering as a BIM technician. He has 10+ years of experience working in AutoCAD and has 7+ years of experience Revit. Over his time as a BIM technician, he has had the pleasure of working on projects in numerous sectors and of various construction types including commercial, federal, residential, industrial, educational, and religious. His responsibilities include working with structural engineers and project managers to review and meet project deadlines including setup, review, and coordination of both AutoCAD and Revit project drawings.

Mr. Velasco is an experienced CADD/Revit Technician who graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology. He has worked in the architectural and engineering industry for over six years. He is also a U.S. Navy Reservist with the Seabees Construction Battalion. His training includes distribution and water treatment systems, refrigeration, and air conditioner systems (HVAC), and disposal and sewage collection facilities.

Mrs. Kittredge has over 30+ years of experience in all aspects of Office Management/Administration.  Throughout her career, she has trained and supervised others in various aspects of customer service/administrative work. Her responsibilities are accounts receivables, accounts payables and payroll; processing the company’s IRA, health insurance, and employee personnel files. She keeps all licenses up to date in all registered states. She is also fluent in Spanish.
